#throwbackthursday: Disney Figurines

Sometime in the late 80's / early 90's Disney started selling these little rubber figurines as park souvenirs. They were all over the parks, and there were so many different figures to choose from. I probably spent half my souvenir allowance on them, picking up a few at each gift shop stand. It set my OCD into "must acquire all the things!" mode. Think of it as pre-pin trading!

My mother kept them safe for me in the attic and a few years ago I handed them down to the girls to play with. At first I was a little anxious about them loosing them throughout the house, but over time I came to terms that such a thing was inevitable. I love that the girls love these little figures as much as I did as a kid, and play with them endlessly.

Does anyone else remember these trinkets or have any other information about them? I'd love to hear from you if you do! They're not sold in the parks anymore and sadly, I never see these on eBay (or I would snap up the ones I regret not getting as a child... because: OCD people!)

Viola and I snapped some photos of a few of our favorites!

Viola has no idea why Chip & Dale are dressed up like this, but that doesn't stop her for imagining adventures for them!
