Frozen Costumes from Chasing Fireflies

I learned about Chasing Fireflies today and wanted to post about it right away for those of you still looking for an Anna or Elsa costume for this Halloween (since Disney is yet to restock). I've received the Chasing Fireflies catalogue in the mail and love the quality of their merchandise (based on pictures alone because, sadly, their prices are a bit outside my price range.)  I hadn't realized that they also sell costumes and have a partnership with Disney to produce an "Ultimate" line of costumes separate from the DisneyStore's Limited Edition and Deluxe lines. (Confused about the different levels of costumes, check out my Princess Costume Primer here).

I was really taken by surprise by the quality of their Anna Coronation gown. If you've read my Frozen Costume reviews you'll know that the Deluxe Green Coronation gown from Disney was recalled and then briefly resold and now completely hard-to-find. In my opinion, this Ultimate version of the Green Coronation Gown is prettier and more realistic than the Deluxe that Disney briefly sold, whereas the Elsa costume seems to be not-quite-as-nice as both the Limited Edition and Deluxe versions of the same design from the Disney Store. Disclaimer being that that's based solely on seeing photos of the Chasing Fireflies versions (we have both the LE Blue Elsa and Deluxe Green Coronation gown, so I'm familiar with those), but I thought it was important to note because the Chasing Fireflies price point is roughly equivalent to the Disney Store Limited Edition costumes, and a bit above the Disney Store Deluxe costumes.

But the Aurora costume is downright gorgeous and exactly what I would hope to see in a Sleeping Beauty dress---- and, for those die-hard fans, they offer a blue sleeping beauty dress, too! How cool is that?

We're all set on Anne / Elsa / and even Aurora dresses at my house, but I have to admit that I'm sorely tempted by the flouncy Doc McStuffin's and Jessie outfits. Not to mention this mermaid with a walking seahorse pet?! ADORABLE!

Their Disney costumes are really quite nice, and their non-Disney costumes look pretty impressive, too. I just want to be clear that this isn't a paid advertisement or anything like that. I came across Chasing Fireflies' costumes today and wanted to share because I know so many of you are still trying to find Frozen costumes. Best of luck to you in your Halloween costuming!
